HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Playing several athletes down, the HU men’s tennis team started behind the eight ball Saturday afternoon as they defaulted three matches on their way to suffering a 7-2 loss to Hanover College (9-7).

Senior Joseph Straznicky, playing in the final home match of his career, won at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles to pace the Foresters. He teamed up with Giovanni Martinez in doubles to breeze past Dakota Smith and Reid Clark 8-2 before beating Smith in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4, for his second win of the day. 

Coach Eckert’s crew (4-15) closes out their spring season on April 30 at Cedarville University.
