WABASH, Ind. - The Huntington women’s golf team shot nearly 20 strokes better than their scores from last weekend to finish 4th out of five teams at the Manchester University Fall Invitational. Playing at the Honeywell Golf Course, HU shot 394 as a team.

Freshman Abby Poole paced Coach Schownir’s crew by shooting a 12-over-par 84 which landed her 5th out of 38 golfers. Hannah Lochner tied for 11th by posting a 94. Sophie Frazier turned in a 101 to share the 21st spot. Sara Scott (T31st) and Sara Moloney (36th) rounded out HU’s scores by carding a 115 and 136 respectively.

"We continue to make positive steps,” said Schownir. “Both Hannah Lochner and Sophie Frazier had season low scores and Abby Poole is reliable to turn in a solid score every round."
