HU music department to present ‘The Marriage of Figaro’

HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University music department will present "The Marriage of Figaro," an opera, at 5 p.m. May 10 in the Studio Theatre in the Merillat Centre for the Arts. The production includes nine student performers.

Performers include:

Haley Glinz, a junior music major from Spring Arbor, Mich., as Susanna.

Osvaldo Gil, a sophomore choral education major from Indianapolis, Ind., as Figaro.

Jacob Smith, a senior choral education major from Berne, Ind., as Count Almaviva.

Brittany Blazier, a senior choral education major from Ossian, Ind., as Countess Almaviva.

Alyssa Kissell, a sophomore choral education major from Huntington, Ind., as Cherubino.

Taylor Lahr, a freshman choral education major from Markle, Ind., as Barbarina.

Alexandria Witzig, a freshman music performance major from Ossian, Ind., as Marcellina.

Stephen Planalp, a senior theatre performance major from Colombus, Ind., as Don Bartolo.

Ja'Shon Burks, a junior choral education and Bible and religion studies major from Indianapolis, Ind., as Don Basilio and Don Curzio.
