GOSHEN, Ind. - The Forester men’s tennis team finished in a tie for second in the final Crossroads League standings with a 5-4 win over Goshen College Saturday afternoon.

HU jumped out to a 2-1 advantage over the Maple Leafs after doubles play and held that lead the rest of the way to secure the W.

With this win, HU (9-3) wraps up regular season league play with a 7-2 record as does Marian with the tiebreaker favoring the Knights because they beat Eckert’s crew head-to-head.

As such, Huntington will enter the CL tournament as the No. 3 seed and will host No. 6 seed Taylor on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
