CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Forester women’s tennis team hit the road to NCAA Division II Cedarville University where they overpowered their hosts for a 6-3 win at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex. The win marks Huntington’s first win of the spring as they wrap up the year with an 11-6 record.

The match of the day came at No. 1 doubles where Morgan Bemisderfer and Celine Rongos were in a back and forth battle with Lauren Jackson and Kristen Heydt until the HU duo finally took control late in the match to tally the 8-6 win.

Coach Roger Ferguson was pleased with his team’s final outing. "Our tough early spring season schedule, playing against ranked opponents had our team battle tested and sharp for this match up against a good DII team."
