HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Huntington University junior Kelsey Hubble was named the Crossroads League Player of the Week for the week of February 2.

After posting 11 points and three assists in an 80-47 win over Spring Arbor on Wednesday, the 5-6 guard had a career day in Saturday’s 95- 49 blowout over Mount Vernon. She poured in a game-high and career-tying 26 points on 10-for-11 shooting which included knocking down all six of her 3-point attempts. The Pendleton native also logged six assists and three steals during her 25 minutes of play against the Cougars.

On the season, Hubble is averaging 12.5 points per game. She is currently shooting 45.0 percent from behind the arc which places her 4th in NAIA Division II in 3-Pt. FG percentage. As a team, the Foresters are shooting 38.3 percent from long range to lead the nation in 3-Pt. FG percentage. HU also tops the nation in free throw percentage at 81.2 percent.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
