Huntington College Recognized by US News

HUNTINGTON, IN -- Huntington College has been listed in the top quartile among Midwestern liberal arts colleges by US News and World Report's annual Guide to Colleges and Universities, now on news stands.

The honor marks HC's highest listing to date in the magazine's annual national review of institutions of higher learning.

"We are obviously very pleased by the recognition," said Huntington College president G. Blair Dowden. "This honor is yet another indicator that we are bettering our best at Huntington College."

"Bettering our best" was the theme of a strategic long-range planning process adopted by Huntington College in 1993. The program calls for continuous quality improvement in every area of college operations.

Other Indiana schools listed in the Midwest's top quartile include Anderson, Manchester, St. Joseph's, St. Mary's and Taylor.
