HU’s Arizona location announces open house dates
On August 2, 4, 9 and 11, Huntington University’s Arizona Center for Digital Media Arts will host an open house for the Peoria community.
“We are excited to showcase our new facility, staff and Huntington’s leadership team as we near the start of our first class on August 29,” stated Jeff Berggren, Huntington’s director of Arizona operations. “We have tailored each open house for a specific audience, but we believe each one will play a vital role in the success of our new Center for Digital Media Arts.”
All guests will be able to meet with the Arizona staff and learn about HU’s comprehensive programs in film production, broadcast-fusion media and graphic design. Hands-on tours of the facility will include TV studios, audio and computer labs, edit suites, computer labs, student collaboration areas as well as classrooms. Students will also have the opportunity to review the center’s comprehensive array of new film production equipment.
Student Open House – August 2, 2016
Prospective students are invited to the first open house August 2 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for students to see the completion of the new facility before the school year officially starts, as well as meet the key Huntington University personnel who helped bring the Arizona Center for Digital Media Arts to Peoria. Those in attendance will be:

- Arizona Digital Media Arts Program Director, Phil Wilson
- Arizona Learning Technology Manager, Eric Luce

At 5:45 p.m., there will be a Q&A session with President Emberton and Professor Wilson. Family and friends are welcome to take part during this session. The open house also will be a chance for students who have not applied to learn about the next steps they can take if interested in starting classes on August 29.
Educators Open House – August 4, 2016
Huntington University invites the Maricopa Community College, PUSD, PSBN and all Arizona educators to an open house on August 4 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for educators to see the completion of the facility before the school year officially starts, as well as meet HU personnel who will staff the new Center for Digital Media Arts including:

Faith Community Open House – August 9, 2016
Huntington University invites the faith community of Peoria for an open house on August 9 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for those interested in a Christian higher education to see the completion of the new building before the school year officially starts, as well as see the impact they can make on our students at Huntington University’s Arizona Center for Digital Media Arts. The center’s staff who will be present include:

City of Peoria Open House – August 11, 2016
Huntington University invites the City Council, government officials, Chamber of Commerce Members and the community of Peoria for an open house on August 11 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity for visitors to see the completion of the new building before the school year officially starts, as well as see how they can be involved at the Huntington University’s Arizona Center for Digital Media Arts.
