HU’s National Ag Week Celebration Breakfast

Huntington University’s Haupert Institute for Agricultural Studies will host a National Ag Week breakfast event on Tuesday, March 12, to honor FFA leaders and members from Ohio and Indiana.

This year’s guest speaker will be Howard Halderman, president of Halderman Farm Management and Real Estate Services and executive chair of US Agriculture. Halderman, whose background is in agricultural economics and farm management, oversees the day-to-day operations of the firms and develops their strategic direction.

The Halderman Companies oversee farmland assets for clients in 19 states, buy and sell farmland in the Midwest and perform over 700 appraisals of farmland annually. US Agriculture holds agricultural assets and commitments under management for four institutional clients.

Halderman’s presentation will be a central focus of the breakfast event and a part of the greater celebration of agriculture in National Ag Week.

The National Ag Week breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons and will conclude by 9:30 a.m. This event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required. To RSVP, please contact Missi Wust at (260) 359-4099 or mwust@huntington.edu by March 5.
