HU’s TESOL program to host November information session

HUNTINGTON, Ind. Huntington University's TESOL program will host an information session from 6-7 p.m. Nov. 5.

The Institute for TESOL Studies offers certification in teaching English learners (ELs). A wide variety of professionals and students of various majors find relevancy in this 15-credit certificate. TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Individuals working in education, missions, ministry, social work, international business and numerous other fields can benefit from earning a TESOL certificate or state certification in teaching ELs. As a result, ITS courses are typically evening classes that take place once a week, making it possible for traditional undergraduate students, as well as working adults, to earn their certification.

The information session will be held at HU's Fort Wayne campus, which is located at the Parkview Randallia Hospital, 2200 Randallia Drive, Fort Wayne, Ind.
