HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Up against one of the nation’s best, the Forester women’s tennis team suffered its first loss of the year, a 9-0 tilt, to the Wildcats of Indiana Wesleyan University. IWU, ranked 8th in last year’s postseason poll, is one of just two teams to reach every NAIA National Tournament since the team concept began in 2000.

Wesleyan is off to another great start this fall as they boast a perfect 7-0 record, giving up a mere three matches in their seven outings. HU drops to 2-1 overall, 2-1 in league play.  

Huntington hits the road on Tuesday to face Taylor University at 4:00 p.m.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
