HUNTINGTON, IN April 25, 1996 --- Tim Holtz, a freshman at Huntington College has qualified for the NAIA National Track and Field Championships. Last Saturday, Tim threw the discuss 160' 10" to surpass the qualifying mark.

Coach Tom King said, "this is an outstanding throw, especially for a freshman. Tim continues to improve."

The championships will be held May 22-25, 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tim is the son of Tom and Jacqueline Holtz of Peoria, Illinois.
