Michelson published in new book on Romania

Huntington, Ind. " Dr. Paul Michelson, distinguished professor of history at Huntington College, is co-editor of a newly published book, National Development in Romania and Southeastern Europe: In Honor of Cornelia Bodea. Dr. Michelson wrote the introduction as well as a chapter entitled Cornelia Bodea and the History of the Emergence of Modern Romania. Cornelia Bodea is a member of the Romanian Academy who celebrated her 85th birthday this year, explained Michelson. She has been the most significant promoter of Romanian-American relations over the last decade.
Dr. Michelson has been teaching at Huntington College since 1974. He received his Ph.D. in history from Indiana University, and specializes in East European and Russian history with a particular expertise in Romanian history and culture. He has been a three-time senior Fulbright scholar in Romania and is frequent consultant to numerous agencies, including government bodies, on Romanian and East European affairs. Michelson also serves as Secretary of the National Board, Society for Romanian Studies, and is editor of the SRS Newsletter.
