HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University sophomore hurler DJ Moore was named the Crossroads League Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 27.

Moore recorded two wins last week. His first W came at the expense of Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Tuesday and included a two-hit complete game shutout. He went on to grab a win over Spring Arbor on Saturday, giving up six hits and one run while striking out eight in his six innings on the mound.

For the week the Fort Wayne native (Homestead HS) had a 0.69 ERA allowing one run on eight hits without giving up a walk while striking out 14. He currently holds five national rankings which include being ranked 7th in total walks allowed (4), 33rd in walks allowed per 9 (1.44), 38th in total hits allowed (24), 46th in total runs allowed (12) and 50th in total earned runs allowed (9).

The #RV Forester baseball team (10-7, 3-2) is back in action today at 4:00 p.m. at Indiana Wesleyan University.
