Renowned Russian pianist to return to Huntington

HUNTINGTON, IN -- Since performing her first public recital at the age of six, Tamara Karetkina Orlovsky has received rave reviews, critical acclaim and standing ovations. On Thursday, April 11, she will return to the Merillat Centre for the Arts for an evening of classical piano music.

The concert will include selections by Haydn and Schumann. A Russian program of works by composers Scriabin, Rachmaninoff and Balakirev will also be presented.

The performance, sponsored in part by Square D, will begin at 8 p.m. in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts. General admission tickets are $7. For tickets or further information, please call the Merillat Centre for the Arts box office at (260) 356-6000, extension 2060.
