HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Huntington University sophomore ace Mason Shinabery was named the Crossroads League Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league earlier this afternoon.

Shinabery tossed a one-hit shutout and collected ten strikeouts against just one walk in the Foresters’ 5-0 win at Saint Francis. The right-hander has issued just eight walks on the year to rank 16th in the NAIA.

The Foresters (13-13) boast an 11-1 league record for the top spot in the Crossroads League standings. Frame’s crew hosts Indiana Wesleyan tomorrow for a doubleheader with the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
