Short, an Antwerp, Ohio native (Antwerp H.S.), helped guide the Foresters to a 1-1 record last week. In HU's 67-66 win over Marian University on Tuesday, the 6-5 forward poured in a game-best 22 points which included going 4-for-7 behind the arc and a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. He also pulled down six boards and dished out two assists.
On Saturday, Short tossed in 15 points in the Foresters' 89-88 loss to 10th-ranked Grace College. He was again perfect at the line, making good on all three of his attempts.
