HUNTINGTON, Ind. The Huntington University Peer Award recipients for December are Polly Tribolet, accounts payable/student payroll processor, and Jay Duffer, assistant professor of theatre arts.

The Peer Award, which began in 2003, promotes acknowledgment and recognition of the outstanding efforts of Huntington University faculty and staff members. Award winners are chosen and recognized each month by fellow peers.

Tribolet was recognized by Anita Gray, director of library services, because of her graciousness in helping Gray with student payroll.

"Polly kindly answered all my questions with patience and grace, sometimes repeatedly. I thank you, and our student workers definitely thank you for your gracious help," Gray said.

Duffer was recognized by Joni Killian, adjunct instructor in music, because of his talent in leading many of the HU productions.

"I have such high regard for his acting and singing talent, directing and the creative way his mind works," Killian said. "I also have observed his heart as he prays with the cast of a show or counsels a struggling student. He has earned the trust and respect of all his students, and I look forward to collaborating with him many times in the future."
