Women’s Tennis wins Academic Excellence Award

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Each year an Academic Excellence Award is given to the athletic team with the highest team grade point average for the year. The women’s tennis team claimed the top spot for the 2016-17 year with their 3.559 GPA. 

“I want to congratulate all of our student-athletes for their outstanding academic performance on the year,” said athletic director Lori Culler. “With 16 of our 18 programs posting a 3.1 or higher GPA for the year, our student-athletes continue to maintain a high standard of excellence in the classroom as well as on the playing field. Well done Forester STUDENT-athletes!”
