Wust named NAIA All-Region

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced its 2015 NAIA Regional Awards and among the list of honorees was Huntington University junior Isaac Wust.

The Huntington native was one of six Crossroads League players to be named to the NAIA All-Region Second Team for the Mideast Region. In total, 11 players representing the Crossroads League, Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference and Wolverine-Hoosier comprised the Second Team.

Wust is the first Forester since 2004 to be recognized by the NSCAA. The All-Conference honoree guided the Foresters to an overall record of 9-9-1 and 7th place in the conference standings - the program’s highest finish since 2008. He finished the year with a team-high ten goals and five assists for 25 points.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 17 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 39 NAIA All-America honors and 234 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
