Madison Brown of Homestead High School won Best of Show for her piece “Unexpected Harm” in Huntington University’s 9th Annual High School Art Exhibit. The awards reception was held Feb. 15.

Rittenhouse to perform senior recital Feb. 7
The Huntington University Music Department will present a senior recital by soprano Audra Rittenhouse at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7. The free recital will be held in the Longaker Recital Hall of the Merillat Centre for the Arts.

Annual high school art exhibit to open Feb. 6
The ninth annual Huntington University High School Art Exhibit will be held in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery on campus from Feb. 6 to 22. This juried invitational exhibit will feature 100 different works of art from regional high school students.
Multicultural Activities Council to present screening of ‘Invictus’
The Multicultural Activities Council at Huntington University is continuing its Diversity Film Series at 8 p.m. Jan. 20 with a screening of “Invictus.”
HUTC’s ‘Reckless’ selected to perform at regional festival
The Huntington University Theatre Company’s dramatic rendition of “Reckless” has been selected as a participating production at the regional Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF). This is the first time that an HU show has been honored at this level.
HU visual arts department to host Christmas sale
Huntington University’s visual arts department will host a sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery on campus. The sale will feature paintings, photography, mono-prints, batik, handmade cards and jewelry.
