The talented works of Huntington University’s graduating digital media arts majors will be on display in the Robert E. Wilson Gallery in the Merillat Centre for the Arts from April 3-16. An artist reception will be held at 6 p.m. April 5.
HU film students take home first place at IASB awards
Huntington University was recognized for its digital media arts program once again at the 2014 Indiana Association of School Broadcasters awards. Senior film production and philosophy major Ashish Dhingra and senior film production major Kevin Turner took first place in the music video category at the awards.
The ‘Likeness’ of Inspiration
“The Likeness of Sydney Mann,” written by junior film production major Jonathan Scales, follows the hardships of a family who are recruited into selling drugs by their mother to make ends meet. But as the older daughter attempts to find a better path for her life, she discovers the love and support of a next-door neighbor.
