Huntington University Nursing Career Academy Application
Registration is open for the 2023 Summer Nursing Camp. Programs are open to current 2022-2023 high school sophomores through high school seniors who want a glimpse of what it would be like to pursue a career as a nurse.
Summer Camp Scholarships, including several full scholarships, will be awarded to qualifying student campers. To see if you automatically qualify for a full summer camp scholarship, fill out the registration form completely.
This five-day up-close look at nursing will give you experience with the equipment, techniques, and heart of the nursing profession. You’ll learn from and work closely with amazing Huntington University Department of Nursing faculty while also having fun with your fellow campers. Highlights will include
- Introduction to injections
- Hands-on interaction with our High-Fidelity Nursing Simulation mannequins
- Wounds and dressings
- Hands-on care, including denture, shaving, and blood pressure measurements
