The Center for Energy Education is seeking summer interns to assist with the planning and implementation of summers camps. Interns will work with staff and teachers to coordinate and execute educational summer camps for elementary and middle school children. Camps will be virtual. The summer camp program will include activities on renewable energy, reading, science and math. Multiple camps will take place simultaneously during the months of June and July.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The goal of an After School Programs Supervisor is to create a safe, positive, engaging atmosphere while providing direct supervision to children ages 7 up to 8th grade in the YMCA building and in YMCA programs. The YMCA’s core values (honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring) will be guiding principles for the Supervisor’s interaction with children, teachers, and parents. Hours of this position are based on the HCCSC school calendar and have the potential to vary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Actively engage and supervise children ages 7 up to 8th grade.
2. Implement programs and activities that are developmentally appropriate and consistent with YMCA values.
3. Adhere to program standards including safety, cleanliness, and interpersonal standards as provided by the Youth Programs Director.

POSITION SUMMARY:
A Youth Sports Program Worker will be required to learn and execute all the disciplines required to help manage the Y Youth Sports Programs at various venues. This position will be in accordance with the policies and purpose of the Parkview Huntington YMCA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
   1. Refereeing/Concessions/Site Representative
   2. Reflect and uphold the mission and core values of the YMCA when dealing with people within the YMCA facility and in the community.
   3. Arrive ready to work at scheduled times.
   4. Wear approved uniform and maintain professional appearance.
   5. Ensure that all required paperwork and all correspondance is complete, correct and distributed to parents/guardians/coaches in a timely manner. (If applicable)
   6.   • Visits 250 collegiate basketball programs to disciple, minister and recruit
  • Sends 9 competing teams of 149 athletes and coaches to 9 countries.
  • Sends coaches to 4 countries for camps and clinics.
  • Hosts 20 international coaches for a 2-week basketball academy.
  • Develops 21 DI Captains and emerging leaders at the Captains Academy
  • Invests into 27 coaches at the HBCU Coaches retreat
  • Refreshes hundreds of coaches through Final Four ministry events

During your AIA basketball internship you will have opportunities for personal, professional, and spiritual growth. This will be accomplished through hands-on ministry experience in college & international basketball, growing together in quality Christian community, and intentional discipleship and mentoring from our AIA Basketball staff. Unique opportunities include: competing on an international basketball tour, the International Basketball Coaches Academy, Residential Academy, Final Four ministry, HBCU Coaches Retreat, Captains Academies, and more.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsibilities for an entry level position in Pricing & Contracts may include: analyzing, building, recommending, and implementing appropriate customer pricing and contracting strategies for GPO, IDN, and individual hospital customers.
