Please arrive 45 minutes before ceremony!
Dress
- Please unpack and hang up or iron your graduation gowns before the ceremony.
- Honor cords, stoles, and medallions given by University-recognized groups may be worn. Honor cords (if earned) will be distributed by the Registrar’s office at the registration desk when you check-in. Doctoral and Master's degrees wear tassels on the left front.
- The commencement ceremony is formal.
- Women should wear dark pants or skirts and dark shoes.
- Men should wear a light shirt and tie, dark trousers and dark shoes.
- No flip-flops or tennis shoes please.

Senior Sendoff Schedule
- 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. - Bruch buffet in the upper-level Huntington Union Building (HUB): $10 per person (graduates eat free)
- 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Forester Blend and Bookstore open
- 12:30 p.m. – Senior Class Photo at the front of the HUB

Graduating seniors, we want to stay in touch! You must take an exit survey before picking up your caps, gowns, and gifts. Please select the appropriate survey below:
Alumni Brick Information
You can leave a lasting legacy with a Alumni Brick Plaza in front of Becker Hall by transferring your student deposit that you paid when you came to HU to the Alumni Plaza project account to purchase your engraved brick. You will be investing in future Huntington University students since part of that deposit goes toward student scholarships from the Forester Fund!
Tickets
No tickets are necessary. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Arrival Time: All graduates should arrive at 4:00 p.m. Please be sure to bring your full regalia with you (cap, gown, and tassel).
Pre-Ceremony Instructions: Graduates should plan to arrive at 4:00 p.m. for the following:
Headshots and graduation photos
Practice walk-through of the ceremony
Time to get settled before guests arrive
Water bottles and a light meal will be provided for graduates prior to the ceremony.
Dress & Regalia:
Please unpack and hang or steam your graduation gown in advance of the ceremony.
Students are encouraged to wear lightweight materials under their regalia due to the heat.
Honor cords (if earned) will be distributed prior to the ceremony during graduate check-in.
The commencement ceremony is formal.
Post-Ceremony Photos: Following the ceremony, family and friend photos will be available (free of charge) on the back patio with our photographer.
