Dr. Dwight D. Brautigam came to Huntington in 1987. He received his Ph.D. in British and Early Modern European history from the University of Rochester and specializes in 17th century English political and religious history.

Dr. Paul Michelson
Distinguished Professor of History

Dr. Paul E. Michelson has been a member of the faculty since 1974. He was a three-time Fulbright fellow in Romania (1971-1973, 1982-1983, 1989-1990). His research focuses on the historiography and political development of modern Romania, the history of Twentieth Century totalitarianism, the history of Venice, and the work of C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien.
