Tyler Welker is an assistant professor of animation in the Department of Digital Media Arts at Huntington University.  He joined the Huntington University faculty in 2023.  In addition to teaching, Tyler has spent over a decade in animation and multimedia production roles and has an impressive list of production experiences and achievements. 

From Wooster, Ohio, Tyler lives in Fort Wayne and enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring the outdoors and all sports.  Tyler and his wife, Krist (2009 HU Grad), have two kids, Mackenzie and Logan, and attend and serve at Emmanuel Community Church.
