Area Student Honored at College Homecoming

HUNTINGTON, IN -- Miss Sarah Kimlick of New Paris was honored as Huntington College celebrated Homecoming 1995 over the weekend. Miss Kimlick was elected Homecoming Queen by her peers.

Miss Kimlick is a senior at Huntington College pursuing a degree in English education. She is a 1992 graduate of Fairfield High School in Goshen, Indiana.

Jason Holliday of Northwood, Ohio was elected Homecoming King. Mr. Holliday is pursuing a major in youth ministry and a minor in vocal performance. He is a 1992 graduate of Emmanuel Baptist School in Toledo, Ohio.

Also representing the H.C. senior class were:

  • Amy Branson of Hillsdale, Michigan. Miss Branson is pursuing a major in choral music education and a minor in vocal performance. She is a 1992 graduate of Hillsdale High School.
  • Brandon Murphy of Hope, Indiana. A 1992 graduate of Hauser High School, Mr. Murphy is pursuing a double major in business management and psychology at Huntington College.
  • Tara Johnson Hallman, originally of Leo, Indiana. Mrs. Hallman is pursuing a double major in elementary education and educational ministries. A 1992 graduate of Carrol High School, Tara was escorted at Homecoming by her husband, Tim.
  • Tim Hallman, originally of Montgomery, Michigan. Mr. Hallman is a Bible/Religion major with an educational ministries minor. A 1992 graduate of New Hope Christian High School in Camden, Michigan, Tim now resides in Huntington with his wife, Tara.
  • April Malson of Clare, Michigan. Miss Malson is pursuing a degree in history and secondary education at Huntington College. She is a 1992 graduate of Clare High School.
  • Doug Billerman of Celina, Ohio. Mr. Billerman is an accounting and business management major. He graduated in 1992 from Celina Senior High School.

Representing the Junior class were Susan Torrenga and Sam Ward. Miss Torrenga is pursuing a degree in exercise science from Huntington College. She is a 1993 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School in Wheatfield, Indiana. Mr. Ward is 1993 graduate of Beaver County Christian High School in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. He is pursuing a double-major in English education and theatre.

Representing the Sophomore class were Dyann Warrington and Jeff Baker. Miss Warrington is an Elementary Education major at Huntington College. She graduated in 1994 from Rocky Grove High School in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Mr. Baker is a Biology major planning for a career in medicine. He graduated in 1994 from Berrien Springs High School in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

Representing the Freshman class were Josi Yoquelet and Ken Lewis. A 1995 graduate of R. Nelson Snider High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Miss Yoquelet is pursuing a degree in psychology at Huntington College. Mr. Lewis is a an educational ministries major. He graduated in 1995 from DeWitt High School in DeWitt, Michigan.
