#24 Panthers cruise to 8-1 win over HU

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Vlad Khudziy posted HU’s only win of the day at No. 1 singles by beating Vitaly Shumilov in a three-set dandy, 3-6, 6-3 (10-5), as #24 Davenport University rolled on to a 8-1 win over the Forester men’s tennis team Friday afternoon at the MVP SportsPlex in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Huntington kept things close in the doubles action but came up short in all three matches before the Panthers dominated singles play to log their 17th win of the year.

With this loss, the Foresters wrap up the year with a 9-9 record.
