Brown repeats as NAIA Scholar-Athlete

Sioux City, Iowa - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced today that 392 volleyball student-athletes have been named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes and among the list of honorees was HU senior Rebekah Brown (Converse, Indiana, Oak Hill High School).

Student-athletes are nominated by their institution’s head coach and must be at least a junior in academic standing and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. 
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 187 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
