Canal earns MCC All-Conference honors

Huntington, Ind. - Huntington University freshman forward Todd Canal was named to the Mid-Central College Conference Second Team on Friday as voted on by the league's head coaches.

Canal, a Indianapolis native (Covenant Christian High School), led the Foresters offensively with nine goals and six assists. He is currently ranked fourth in the MCC for total points (24). He is also tied for fifth in the conference standings for total goals scored (9) and total assists (6).

The Foresters wrapped up the 2011 season with an overall record of 4-12-1.
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 187 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
