Cougars edge past HU in final MCC match

Fort Wayne, Ind. - With the rainy weather forcing the MCC women’s tennis match to be played at Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne on Friday, the match came down to the wire with the Cougars of Saint Francis edging past the Foresters 5-4.

With this loss, HU finishes at the No. 8 spot in regular season conference play with a 1-7 MCC record. The Foresters will play top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan University on Tuesday in first round action of the MCC tournament.
