After adverse weather conditions forced a rain delay and change of venue, the HU men’s tennis
team wrapped up regular season play with a 6-3 win against Indiana University Southeast at the Wildwood Racquet Club in Fort Wayne.
The Foresters picked up two wins in doubles action and added for more points in singles play to breeze to the 6-3 win over the Grenadiers.
"I was a little worried there would be a drop in the team's play after winning the conference but that hasn't been the case. The guys have come out and worked hard and remained focused on our team goal for every match this season,” stated Coach Ferguson. “We finished the regular season with two wins over a couple of tough opponents that will help us in our conference tournament this week."
With this win, the Foresters close out their fall season with a perfect 10-0 record. As the #1 team in the MCC, the Foresters turn their attention to the Mid-Central College Conference Tournament slated to begin Thursday, October 7.
