HU golf finished 2nd at A.C. Eddy Invitational

ANGOLA, Ind. - In between bouts of rain, the Forester golf team (58-22) finished second at the A.C. Eddy Invitational at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana, Wednesday afternoon.

As a team, HU shot a 16-over-par 300 paced by Rylan Porter’s two-over 73. He finished tied for fifth while Josh Teulker shot a 75 to finish tenth. Devin Dale and Ryan Boester each turned in a 76 to claim a share a piece of 11th. Mickey Belt and Derek Zurcher carded a 77 and 79 respectively while Lance Hoch posted an 81.

Host Trine University captured the team title with a 290 followed by HU (300), Calumet (312), Ohio Northern (318), Albion (322) and Olivet (328).

Huntington is back in action today and tomorrow to compete in the Bethel College Invitational at Blackthorn GC, South Bend.
