HU tennis outlasts Grace for 5-4 win

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – The Forester women’s tennis team opened up the season with a 5-4 win over Grace College at Miller Field Thursday afternoon.

After blanking the Lancers at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, Coach Ferguson’s crew split wins in singles action to log their first league victory of the season.

Huntington won at spots 2-4 and gave up only two sets in singles play which ended up being the only sets they would give up in their five wins.

HU (1-0, 1-0) finishes out the week with two more matches, facing off against University of Northwestern Ohio on Friday and Saint Francis on Saturday.
