Hanson named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its women's volleyball post-season awards for the 2005-06 season. Huntington University junior setter, Kellie Hanson, was among those to be named to the Daktronics-NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete list. Recipients of the Scholar-Athlete award must have at least a junior academic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5.
Hanson, an Elementary Education major from Mishawaka, Indiana (Penn High School) led the 2005 Forester volleyball team in assists, averaging 10.0 assists per game on the season.
