Huntington finishes 9th at Bill Bockwitz Invite

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. - The Forester golf team shot a 319 on Friday and a 321 on Saturday of the to finish in a tie for 9th at the Bill Bockwitz Invitational hosted by Spring Arbor University.

Pacing HU was Ryan Boester who turned in a 152 (78, 74) to finish in a tie for 13th overall. Devin Dale tied for 38th with a 159 (80,79). Only one stroke separated Derek Zurcher (81, 83) and Lance Hoch (80, 85) as they finished 47th and 49th respectively.

Spring Arbor captured their own invitational title with a 594 followed by Siena Heights (598), Mount Vernon (599), Madonna (604), Indiana Wesleyan (605), Grace (620), Saint Francis (620), Rochester (621), HU (640), Cleary (640), Spring Arbor “B” (695) and Mount Vernon “B” (712).
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
