Huntington wraps up season with 6-1 win over IU East

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Hampered by inclement weather, the HU women’s tennis team played their one and only match of the spring Tuesday afternoon at Klopfenstein Courts, dominating IU East 6-1.

After picking up wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, the Foresters made quick work of the Red Wolves in singles action by giving up only nine games at the first four spots.

Despite the weather, Coach Ferguson was pleased with his team’s performance. “The ladies played well in some rough wind today. They stayed focused which is very important when playing in the bad conditions.”
