O'Leary named HU Athlete of the Week

HUNTINGTON, Ind. - The Huntington University Athletic Department announced its Athlete of the Week for the week of March 3, 2014. Softball sophomore earned the honor for her outstanding effort over this past weekend.

The Foresters opened up their season in Kentucky this weekend where they went 2-2 behind the bats of O’Leary. The Hebron native (Hebron HS) hit .462 with six hits that included a pair of doubles and her third career homer, a solo blast over the left field fence. She also scored a run and drove in seven more.

Huntington (2-2) is back in action this weekend when they travel to Hanover College for a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m..
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 16 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
