Huntington University senior, Kellen Zawadzki, was named the Mid-Central Conference Player of the Week for the week of November 15-21, 2010. Zawadzki, a business management major from Tipp City, Ohio (Tippecanoe High School), averaged 26.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists to lead the Foresters men's basketball
to a 3-0 week.
In Tuesday’s 99-87 win over Madonna, he went 7-for-13 behind the arc and scored a career-high 32 points. Over the weekend Zawadzki was named the Hall of Fame Tournament Most Valuable Player. He tossed in 17 points in the win against Kuyper College on Friday night and followed that up a 31-point performance against Missouri Valley College in the championship game.
Zawadzki is leading the Foresters (5-0) in scoring this season with his 24.2 average. He is also dishing out a team-high 5.0 assists per game. He has knocked down 24 threes at a clip of 51.1 percent.
