Alpha Chi names Sophomore Honor Award winners

Huntington, Ind.—The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi National Scholarship Honor Society presented five students at Huntington University with the 2008 Sophomore Honor Award on May 4.

These students included

Alicia Bonham, a theatre performance major from Upland, Ind.

Jason Eberly, a film studies major from Fort Wayne, Ind.

Jarod Hammel, a math education major from Andrews, Ind.

Scott Cressman, a chemistry pre-med major from Sturgis, Mich.

David Lash, a business management major from Mentone, Ind.

They were recognized as the top students in their class at a reception hosted by the president of the university, Dr. G. Blair Dowden, at his home.

The Indiana Beta Chapter of Alpha Chi at Huntington University is one of the top 10 chapters nationally of Alpha Chi’s some 300 chapters and was national chapter of the year in 2001.
