Huntington University nursing students give flu shots


 Huntington, Ind.—Huntington University’s Department of Nursing, in collaboration with the Huntington County Department of Health, offered flu shots on Oct. 22. After learning fundamental skills this semester, the first class of nursing students from Huntington University participated in giving seasonal flu vaccines at the flu shot clinic.

The clinic took place in the university’s Parkview Huntington Hospital Lab/Classroom, room 074, in the Science Hall.

Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations. U.S.News & World Report ranks Huntington among the best colleges in the Midwest. In 2008, listed the university as one of America’s Best Colleges.
