Huntington University men’s soccer coach Russ Lawson announced that Isaac Beal of Greenfield, Indiana will join the Forester program this fall.
At Greenfield-Central High School, Beal was an impact player with his tenacious defense and movement off the ball. This past season he had six goals and 10 assists earning him First Team All-Conference honors in the Hoosier Heritage Conference and a spot on the Indianapolis Star East Team. Beal also was First Team All-Hancock County and a recipient of a ISCA All-State Academic certificate.
“Isaac is a great student-athlete that possesses great character qualities and physical abilities,” stated Greenfield-Central coach Jared Manning. “He played a large role in our success as a team and has helped our program grow over the last four years. He possesses great leadership skills and has a great work ethic. He is going to be a great addition to the Huntington program and will be missed.”
Beal’s work rate has also served him well in the classroom as he will be entering HU as a Presidential Colloquium Scholar. Beal is the son of David and Marsha from Greenfield, IN.
“The coaching staff is thrilled that Isaac has decided to continue his playing career at Huntington,” says Coach Lawson. “His speed and versatility will enable him to make a smooth transition to the demands of the collegiate game.”
