Huntington University men’s soccer coach Russ Lawson is pleased to introduce James Parker from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, as the latest member of the 2010 incoming class.
“The coaching staff is excited that James has decided to continue his playing career at Huntington,” says Coach Lawson. “James has gained valuable playing experience leading Harvest Christian High School to a Link Side District Championship and having played in Australia while studying abroad at Hillsong International Leadership College. He is an offensive-minded player who has the versatility to play on the flank and up top as a front runner. During James’ senior campaign he scored 18 goals while dishing out eight assists.”
Parker also excels in the classroom and will be entering HU as an honor student. He plans to major in exercise science with an emphasis in worship ministry.
James is the son of David and Pauline Parker from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
