The Foresters lost a close one 5-4 to Earlham College in the morning and then were blanked 9-0 in the afternoon at Marian College. Mitchell McDonald and Brian Lambright were double winners against Earlham. McDonald defeated Peter DeLalla 4-6, 6-4, 12-11 at #2 singles and teamed with Tyler Moore for the 9-7 win at #1 doubles. At #2 doubles, Lambright and Daron Short won 9-8, and Lambright took down Jon Miller 7-5, 6-4 at #6 singles.
In their second match of the day, the Foresters went quietly in doubles, taking only two games at #1 and #2, and just one game at #3 doubles. In singles play, Lambright took Jerry Wagner to a third set at #6, but he eventually succumbed 10-6 in a super tie breaker. Marian took the other five singles matches in straight sets. The two losses give the men a 3-11 record on the year.
