Cougars have Foresters' number

Huntington, Ind. - Facing the University of Saint Francis for the second time this season, the Forester volleyball team came out strong but couldn’t hang on as the Cougars picked up the 3-1 win, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19, 25-15.

Brittany Rooze led a balanced HU attack with 12 kills. Heather Medich and Rebekah Brown added ten and nine kills respectively. Brown also finished with a team-high 17 digs. Melissa Grossman came up big at the net with four blocks. Jensen Carnahan dished out 35 assists.

The Foresters (5-17, 0-11) take the court again on Friday when they host Goshen College for a 7:00 p.m. match-up. 
The Huntington University Foresters compete in 14 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 53 NAIA All-America honors and 187 All-America Scholar Athlete honors.
