Friesen Center for Service & Experiential Learning
Service is an important characteristic of HU! As one of the three pillars of Huntington University, students tangibly exercise their faith. As John said, “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”
The Friesen Center student leadership team, made up of a Student Director and several Program Coordinators, plans and organizes service opportunities and trips. Some activities serve the Forester community, planting trees and tulip bulbs, and others serve the Huntington community. Trips expose students to different social groups, needs, or issues, broadening the perspective of each participant. To see more activities, click here.
