Contest Rules

Social Media Madness

Our goal is to gain new followers to HUAZ’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts and we need your help! This is a multifaceted contest, so make sure you stay tuned to all that’s happening.

For HUAZ Students:

For our students, we are asking you to be HUAZ ambassadors. Like, post, share, retweet, regram,… whatever for it takes, we are asking you to spread the word to you friends, family, and followers. If you do this and you use #SupportHUAZ on at least one of these platforms twice a week, you will be part of the prize recipients!

Prizes:

If, between Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, HUAZ gains:

  • 200 gained followers: Water Bottle
  • 300 gained followers: Hat
  • 400 gained followers: Hoodie
  • 500 gained followers: Window Visor
  • 600 gained followers: Lap Top Case
  • 700 gained followers: Duffel Bag
  • 800 gained followers: Portable Speakers
  • 900 gained followers: Gift Card
  • 1000 gained followers: Surprise!

Remember, in order to be part of the prize recipients, you must use the hashtag #SupportHUAZ (this can be on an original post, or on shared content) at least five times each week.

For Non-HUAZ Individuals:

For three weeks during April, we will hold a platform-based contest (April 2-7, Facebook; April 9-14, Twitter; April 16-21, Instagram). You are welcome to enter one or all of the following during that week. Contest prizes will be $50-$100 gift cards. The gift cards will be local for those living within the 85000 – 85300 zip codes. For those living outside that zip code range, prizes will include nationally recognized or online organizations. 

Facebook:

To enter, during the week of April 2 through noon on April 7 you must like a #SupportHUAZ post, tag a friend, and – if you are not already doing so – follow the HUAZ Facebook page. You may enter more than once. The winner will be selected Live on Facebook at 2pm (PDT) on Friday.

Twitter:

To enter, during the week of April 9 through noon on April 14 you must favorite a #SupportHUAZ tweet, retweet #SupportHUAZ content, and– if you are not already doing so – follow the HUAZ Twitter page. You may enter more than once. The winner will be selected Live on Facebook at 2pm (PDT) on Friday.

Instagram:

To enter, during the week of April 16 through noon on April 21 you must take a selfie based upon the description of the day, and– if you are not already doing so – follow the HUAZ Twitter page. Only one selfie each day will count as an entry. To enter more than once you may tag a friend on a #SupportHUAZ post. You may enter more than once. The winner will be selected Live on Facebook at 2pm (PDT) on Friday.
