Brandi Nicolette-Baker

Dr. Brandi Nicolette-Baker is an assistant professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy. She teaches coursework across the occupational therapy curriculum related to adult occupations, assistive technology, evidence-based practice, and clinical competency. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, her professional expertise focuses on adult physical dysfunction, neurological recovery, and rehabilitation.
Nicolette-Baker is committed to preparing students for evidence-based, compassionate occupational therapy practice. She equips students with the clinical knowledge and practical skills needed to serve adults across a variety of healthcare settings while emphasizing excellence in patient care and lifelong learning.
Before joining Huntington University, Nicolette-Baker served as an adjunct faculty member and practiced in a variety of clinical settings. Her clinical work has included acute care orthopedics, outpatient neurological rehabilitation, multidisciplinary ALS care, and low-vision rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Indiana Occupational Therapy Association.
