Dr. Deanna Bishop graduated with honors from Liberty University, earning a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. She also holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University.

Dr. Bishop has worked in the counseling and psychology field for several years as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Supervisor in Florida and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina, serving a range of populations. Her clinical focus includes trauma in adults and children, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. She maintains two private practices in Florida and South Carolina.

Her research interests include narcissistic personality disorder, therapeutic approaches for childhood trauma, attachment issues, and counselor supervision. She has taught both introductory and advanced psychology courses and uses practical, engaging methods to prepare future counseling professionals.

Dr. Bishop resides in upstate South Carolina and enjoys hiking in the nearby mountains. She also enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. She has two daughters who work in marketing for large corporations, and two dogs, Sadie and Gus, who keep her busy most days.
